Are leggings and tunics....

old fashioned now? It was just after i saw a response to someone on here and thought really? I still wear my leggings from time to time with a long top but i do wear less. Kind of tired of that look but it is comfy. I do tend to wear what i like but i was just wondering if leggings were out now!

I think it looks a bit 'tired' at this stage. I remember being out a couple of years ago and noticing that every second woman pushing a pram was wearing leggings, tunic, boots and a scarf.

On the other hand, if you like it and it's comfortable, wear it!

I agree, it does look tired. I will wear legging though when the winter comes in. However i would wear a dress, leggings and boots as im not fussed by a tunic. I have quite a lot of short dresses and leggings are great because at 46 i dont like looking like mutton!!

I never bought into the leggings and tunic look, being a diehard jeans n tshirt girl, but having acquired an ileostomy bag recently I'm a (very late) convert! Just the thing to hold it all together but cover it up.

oh and when i say short dresses i mean well above the knee that i would be to conscious to wear with tights. Leggings give me licence to wear shorter things....like a skirt at 18 inches [ i am 5ft 5 ]

Gobbin - They are fantastic comfort wise. I will never give them up!!!

They are the clothes you wear to put weight on in. Plus to look like you've given up

I hate the look tbh; always did. And leggings in hot weather look even worse.

I think it is a bit of a tired look now. Obviously it doesn't matter if that is what you like to wear.

Well I'm pregnant at the moment and sick of being uncomfortable so if I have an opportunity to wear leggings I'm taking it.
