Clothes for men - what do you like/loathe?

I find suits completely unattractive. I'm a pleb who prefers other plebs or men in uniform of some sort.

I'm not into the 'professional' type.

On the underwear showing thing - how horrible is the idea behind this pair of trousers for little boys from Vertbaudet, with 'visible boxer shorts effect' ? Ruins a perfectly nice pair of trousers, imo.

I HATE

Rugby shirts, they make me cringe
Anything with HACKETT written on it
Braces
High waisted jeans with tucked in tshirts and belt (shudder, we were in a cab the other night in a traffic jam and this man wearing just that kept walking past, then we would pass him, then he would overtake etc. We had to make the cab driver take a diversion so we didn't have to look at his horrible arse in horrible jeans any more)

Any sports wear

That banker thing of going out for dinner with a work shirt tucked into jeans and work shoes YUK

I love dh in Tshirts and scruffy jeans and nice shirts. Also denim or leather jacket (I bought him a divine one last bday)

Dont like suits, that clean look with girly unworked hands...bllleerrrgggggggghhhhhhh.
Hate football shirts, I mean these are grown men. WHY do they need to imitate another by wearing the same t-shirt????
V-necks on Men- No.

Like good fitting skinny jeans, slightly grubby

I hate sports wear, jewellery (especially gold), black trainers, shirts tucked in, white socks, football shirts, baseball caps & short shorts.

I like a nice fitted shirt or top on a man with a good body! I also quite like a man in a suit.

jackieno what are vertbaudet thinking of? My DS is quite capable of creating the effect himself! So then he would end up with double pants showing. Or I would forget and be saying "pull your trousers up DS" and they would be up already.

I loathe that habit teenage boys have of wearing their trousers so low slung that the crotch is by their knees and the waistband is at bollock level.

v-neck t-shirts are quite good on DH - he has very broad shoulders and they make him look slightly less wide iyswim
