Black pumps that don't cripple me

I'm not a good heel wearer. But sometimes a woman's just got to grin and bear it!

Others seem to totter round gracefully on 5-inchers while I'm in agony. Last pair I bought were in an 'old lady' shop... Only 3 inches with a 1/2 in platform!! I thought I had it sussed but they made my toes numb & I'd lost the will to live half way through the evening.

I just want a normal-looking pair of black patent court shoes with a round/almond toe that don't look too orthopedic Blush

Any reccs? I think my feet are slightly on the wider side but not hugely so... I wear 5 generally in heels, cos otherwise I can't keep them on...

I have black pmps from Gabor, in G fitting. I have small toes and wide feet and can wear all day with no problems. They look smart and classic too.

Meant to say pumps!

Marks and spencer do a range called foot glove, or something like that... Tried and tested comfortable for me and both my daughters.

Have you tried Russell & Bromley? They make lovely comfy shoes and they are wider than Stuart Weitzman, for example.

I've been on the same hunt. After extensive trying on research, my next heel purchase will be arista abe from clarks. I can walk in them easily and comfortably and they look ok in my opinion. Just waiting for them to come back in stock online in my size.

Sorry cant work out how to link on phone!

Marks and Spencer's £17.50 ones - comfiest heels for work ever! They also do a slightly more expensive pair with more padding but I find the cheap ones great. No tights on with them today, on my feet for most of the day and super super comfy!

Thanks all. I have access to Gabor, Clarks and Russell & Bromley so I'll hit the shops at the weekend.
Cheers!
