Hello

Slowly being talked into wearing a dress for my baby's christening but as someone who doesn't 'do' dresses I have no idea what style or type I am meant to wear. Am looking through pics on websites but I just don't know what would suit me. Please help.

I'm 5ft 4 size 14, still got a flubbery belly from having baby which I hate. Probably pear shaped if anything although now have one (yes just one!) huge knocker from feeding.

Always been a tom boy jeans and t shirt type so a giant floaty floral number would not be good!

Will probably be wearing my hair down and straightened if it's relevant with no makeup.

Don't want to spend too much as probably won't be worn again. Looking at places like bhs, dp etc as I get discount.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

This would be flattering.

Tea dress

Spots

A little floaty

Any good OP?

I quite like this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, god there's loads! All on the BHS website. I need to give this another look. Grin

I actually quite like the 1st. 2nd I think I would feel most comfortable and confident in. 3rd doesn't look too bad. Not keen on 4th.

Thank you :-)

I will see what they look like on!

Well, If you don't want to wear a dress then just don't and bugger what the talkers-into think.

This is nice (and looks Bf friendl. That with, say, a necklace, some bangles and maybe low wedges would surely be enough to satisfy?

Ilovemydogandmydiglovesme Thank you but some of those are waaay to girly for me to pull off. Like that you also payed the same one as flossymoo though :-)

I think I would rather wear a dress than a jump suit!

(these would be brill with the jumpsuit and gubbins but probably way out of your comfort zone)
