Definitely not a last minute hunt for a makup artist...

But if it were, I'd be asking if anyone can recommend someone in York to do bridal makeup on the 2nd August?

Had a last second cancellation and everyone else I'm looking at is now mega expensive. I don't have a spare £120 for trial and on the day, let alone £150!

If anyone can help, I'd be SUPER grateful. Either that or teach me how to stop being such a tomboy and learn how to put makeup on :/

No clue about makeup artists in York, but how about having a look at Lisa Eldridge's videos? www.lisaeldridge.com/video/

You could also search for bridal makeup tutorials on youtube - there are so many great videos with suggestions for products, looks and guides on how to apply it properly.

I'd suggest to keep it fairly simple so you feel comfortable doing the makeup yourself and so you don't feel like it's too much on the day if you're not used to wearing loads of makeup.
