What can I do to calm my hair down?

Yesterday I had my hair highlighted, the hair dresser has made the front of my hair look like bright yellow straw! What can I put on it to darken it and make it less straw like?

Please help :(

you could try a toning shampoo, i am blond and always use a purple toned one to stop it looking brassy. the best is actually 'a touch of silver'. wash, and leave it on for about 5 mins. but to be honest, its going to be hard to darken it without going back to the hairdresser and asking them to put another colour on. a toning shampoo will dull the colour, but won't darken it.
