I need your south london salon recommendations

Just moved to the stockwell area and desperately need somewhere to get my highlights waxing and nails done but have no idea where to go.

I get my hair done on Black Prince Road in Kennington at Haus of Hair having tried most of the other local hairdressers without success. He cuts and colours my hair wonderfully.

As of nails there are a number of little places popping up on the Wandsworth Road where you can drop in for a mani/pedi. I use Zen, which is just by the flats where the college used to be. They're very reasonable and do a good job.

I can't help on the waxing front though, sorry.

I can highly recommend Witches Hut in Clapham Common for highlights, reasonable and I think Isabelle (French) did mine. very friendly.

for nails and waxing I use a tiny salon called Reflections 2 in Wimbledon - super cheap (tenner for Brazilian I think).

In your area are Leslie Leale Green in Dulwich for beauty and many others. There's also Renata Brown (I think) in Crystal Palace.

I do know a couple of local salons (CP area) I would NOT recommend - one has bad reviews on Wakanda anyway, the other did my nails/toes so badly even a friend commented on how bad it was and I could do better! I could PM you names.

I just thought - I have no idea re salons e.g. in Brixton but say in Morleys dept store there will be an elemis salon etc - who do waxing and that sort of thing. Not sure how good on prices.

I have never seen (but never looked) for salons in Brixton/Stockwell area that do beauty.
