(Following on from the other thread.)

...and does he/she get it right?

Mine does and usually gets it right. But we go shopping together a lot so know what each other likes.

Christ, no

MarshaBrady · 18/07/2014 07:44

No, I've got to buy my own stuff.

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/07/2014 07:45

No. Unless I have sent him a link for a present idea.

DearDinah · 18/07/2014 07:49

He buys me coats, just coats. I have quite a lot & although beautiful, they don't go with anything.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/07/2014 07:50

He bought me an absolutely amazing bright pink coat once. That's the only time ever.

fieldfare · 18/07/2014 07:53

Quite often he will and generally gets it right. I like unusual prints and patterns and he'll often come home with something I love and generally get the size right even if the sizing in the shop is a bit off.
I've only once had to return something as it was way off the mark.

GiniCooper · 18/07/2014 07:54

Not a chance in hell.

He would advise if I was looking for an opinion on a dress for an occasion or something. He would never just buy something.

If he did I would be constantly in high heels and body con dresses

juneau · 18/07/2014 07:54

No! He doesn't even buy clothes for himself, let alone me. I have to beg him periodically, to go and get some new jeans or polo shirts when the old ones get holes in them.

Bunbaker · 18/07/2014 07:56

No. He hates shopping. I struggle to get him to buy clothes for himself.

peasandlove · 18/07/2014 07:57

yes. Well his salary contributes to my wardrobe Wink

chickydoo · 18/07/2014 08:01

We've been together 20 years. He did it once ( hot pants) never again!

HemlockStarglimmer · 18/07/2014 08:05

No he doesn't, unless I've sent him a link to something I like. Which was once I think...

My ex liked to buy me clothes occasionally but they were not really my taste. I still remember one short, black with coloured pinstripes dress he bought in about 1983. Wish I'd kept it now - it would suit my ten year old and be the right length for her. Grin

ExcuseTypos · 18/07/2014 08:15

Bloody hell no, thank god.

He did do once.

On our honeymoon he gave me a surprise outfit. It consisted of a purple long jumper with a matching pair of trousers which had purple and orange stripes.Hmm

I asked him never to buy me anything ever again. We've been married 25 years and so far he's obeyedGrin

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 18/07/2014 12:40

No and I never buy him anything either, not even socks. I'd feel quite odd if he did tbh,I like choosing my own things.

Lottapianos · 18/07/2014 13:13

Oh gosh no, never. I am both scared and amused at thinking of the sort of stuff he would buy me if let loose!

bigTillyMint · 18/07/2014 13:14

No. He did once buy me a jumper that your nan wouldn't be seen dead in, so I said same as you, ExcuseTypos!
