Don't use the cheese grater ones - they make a right mess of your feet. The best are the ones like big emery boards.

I have a tendency to cracked skin on my feet, so use flexitol.

I use this scraper and this moisturiser.

My heels are awful and I have to scrape and moisturise every day to keep them looking vaguely normal.

Marking place . My feet are horrific at the moment. Need an industrial sander ..

dexter73 · 17/07/2014 22:05

If my heels are really bad and cracked then I go to the chiropodist to get all the dead skin cut off. Then I scrape and moisturise every day to keep them down.

Purederm exfoliating foot mask. Plastic socks you wear for an hour and then all your dry skin peels off over a week. Look on Amazon for reviews. £4.50 bargain!

Kundry · 17/07/2014 22:09

Flexitol Heel Balm. Practically eliminated the need for scraping.

Cream that is not water based ...almond oil is good or an oil based cream as natural as possible and lather your feet then put cotton socks on and sleep in them.....

I got a Scholl Express Pedi about 3 weeks ago and it's amazing! Really quick and easy to keep on top of hard skin (I had loads).

Best moisturiser, cheese grater etc to try and keep my feet soft!

Yep, also use Boots heel balm if it gets cracked and their intensive foot cream otherwise.

Also heard good things about those Footner sock things that make all your skin peel away, although the ones mentioned upthread sound similar - but cheaper Smile

My chiropodist told me that all you need to do is soak your feet fr half an hour, even in warm water it will soften your dead skin so can be scraped off, but I use the Listerine foot soak (google it, i always add more warm water so add more of the other stuff too - cheapest method ive found that actually works).

Ive wasted so much money over the years on the latest foot file that didnt make 1 bit of difference.

Listerine soak for however long I can spare then a good going over with a newtons chiropody sponge from ebay for around £2. My feet are now allowed into the public again! Smile

soap and glory footfile, or my new fave a Scholl Velvet Smooth Pedi Electric Hard Skin Remover £21.59 on amazon. Any old footcream every night.

Piffpaffpoff · 18/07/2014 08:23

Another Scholl Express Pedi convert here, combined with Flexitol cream. My minging feet are well on their way to looking lovely for the first time in years!!!

chanie44 · 18/07/2014 08:31

I have a micro pedi, which is similar to the scholl roller and really makes easy work of hard skin. I do it every few day.

I have yet to find the holy grail of foot creams, but I really do rate the hemp foot cream from the body shop.

TallulahBetty · 18/07/2014 10:29

Soap & Glory Heel Genius is amazing (it's a cream - never scraped or shaved or whatever else people do Confused )
