any swimsuit recommendations for apple shapes

Hi

I've lost weight and want to treat myself to a flattering swimsuit.

I looked in the mirror and realised my current one makes me look square. I know as an apple I've got very little waist but it must be better than this.
All the ones i've tried on to date still have the same problem. They've been black with sort of stripes at waist and I still look square. It's probably me but I'm hoping that you can point me in the right direction and come up with a miracle which looks good.

I don't like high legged costumes by the way.

Yes!
I am a (slimmish) apple and got this one

They have loads of other colours, this suited my skintone though.
VERY flattering - I feel I have a bit of a waist and some decent boobs too!

Oops! Just saw the bit about 'not high-legged'! Sorry, maybe not for you. They're not particularly high but obviously not shorts style if that's what you are after.

Debenhams have a really good range this year, I got a lovely one with a stomach panel and waist cinching bit and it really works.

I'm tall and struggled with the length in M&S this year.

Black with stripes at the waist sounds a bit sporty functional - good for actually swimming but I'd stay away from it if you're after more of a sunbathing costume.

I bought the ruched boy shorts and a strapless tankini top from M&S. I also have one similar to KikitheKitKat's.

Thank you for these ideas I should be able to find something that I can both swim in and not look like a tank.

The Kenneth Cole one may be too daring for me although I can see that it meets all the requirements for an apple shape.

I found this guide from Simply Beach really useful - it lists various body types (pear, apple, big bust, hourglass, etc.) and recommends swimwear most suitable for your type:
