Can anybody convince me that a Waitrose facial oil is as good as, say, Clarins?

Just that, really. I've used Clarins Blue Orchid Oil for a few years and although lovely, think it might give me pimples around my chin.

Tried a Botanics one from Boots, as per recs on here, but I still preferred Clarins and went back to it.

Any other oils as good, or better?

I like the Clarins one, so not much help, sorry.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is very good.

Clarins all the way for me too.

polyhymnia · 17/07/2014 22:40

I like the Nuxe one too but more for body than face.

If it gives you pimples perhaps oils aren't right for your skin?

I use the Nuxe one every night under Nivea blue pot cream. And my skin is as soft as a baby's bum.

I use the Nuxe one too, it's lovely.
I also use Fushi argan oil and Fushi rosehip oil.

I have tried the Waitrose one but wasn't impressed.
I used to use a Sanctuary one which was nice too.

I have a question about Clarins blue orchid oil- has anyone else found that it loses its colour and smells odd after a while? maybe I shouldn't have left it on a windowsill

I do try to keep mine out if the light and in a coolish place .
