Okaaay, am I crazy to want to buy exactly the same dress again?

I bought a dress in the house of Fraser sale 3-4 weeks ago that I love...then DH decided to be 'helpful' today and put it in the wash - except it's hand wash only!! Hmm

It seems ok...think maybe the lining is showing a bit at the hem now *sigh.

The dress is £5 cheaper now & I'm seriously considering buying it again. I do love it anyway but am wondering if this is a bit of a mental thing to do??

If you loved it and your DH has ruined it, then YANBU at all.

TeenageMutantNinjaTurtle · 17/07/2014 20:47

I would definitely buy it again.

Saurus72 · 17/07/2014 20:51

Definitely buy another - so good when you find the perfect dress!

Iamblossom · 17/07/2014 20:52

How about he buys it for you? Grin. HTH

Laska42 · 17/07/2014 20:57

link?

I8toys · 17/07/2014 20:57

Definitely. DH ruined my best bra - I brought 3 new ones to teach him a lesson!

MsAspreyDiamonds · 17/07/2014 21:25

Get him to buy you two as replacements in two different colours if available.....

dexter73 · 17/07/2014 21:36

Link please!!!

u32ng · 17/07/2014 22:29

Would happily get him to buy me a new one, but it's not noticeably ruined really & he was doing laundry when he's actually not well so didn't want to kick him when he was down for doing a nice thing!

Think I may just buy it again! And hide from DH - although mainly because it'll be about the 4th different dress I've bought in the last 6 weeks Blush. Have become a bit of dress addict!

Thats lovely. Do it! How long is it on you? I am tempted....

peasandlove · 18/07/2014 03:30

In my house hand wash only means doomed to stay in bottom of washing basket

AnonyMust · 18/07/2014 06:30

Yup. Do it!

WildBillfemale · 18/07/2014 07:34

Buy it

u32ng · 18/07/2014 07:46

Umm make that 6th dress in last 4 weeks. This one will now be 7th! Eeks! Think I have some kind of dress disease!

plentyofshoes I'm 5'4" and it sits just above my kneecap. Think it's 93cm.

plentyofshoes · 18/07/2014 11:45

It will be mine then as I am the same height Grin

u32ng · 18/07/2014 12:49

Hope you love it as much as I do plenty!

And keep it away from well meaning other halves doing the laundry!Grin

Ps. If there's any of the diamond long cardi's (same brand) left in the sale then the berry one goes fab with it

u32ng · 23/07/2014 20:22

plentyofshoes did you get your dress?

OP posts:
ThisBitchIsResting · 23/07/2014 22:42

That's a lovely dress but I avoid viscose as it always shrinks!

plentyofshoes · 23/07/2014 22:51

It is not here yet and I go on holiday tomorrow! Plus I need new shorts too. The drama continues Wink
