Please help or my legs will scare people.
Liked St Tropez foam in the past but it was ancient so had to throw it away.
Want something not too dark/orange, not streaky or smelly.

I like l'oreal sublime bronze summer glow lotion from Boots

Mt legs are naturally a pale blue colour!.. I started off mixing it half and half with body lotion on my legs a couple of times a week .. it hasnt streaked and as the summer has gone on am now using it weekly just as it comes out of the bottle..

I have been to Greece already but came backonly slightly off cream natuarally with some feckles.. but now everone is congratualting me on my Tan!

I am pale skin blue eyes.. (bottle) blonde hair

St tropez express tan , leave on for 1,2 or 3 hours depending on colour required.
Found it even better than original

Laska42 · 16/07/2014 21:10

oh and it doesnt smell of biscuits like some do.. have tried johnsons holiday skin and fake bake.. this is much better i think

plumpthecushionsmrs · 16/07/2014 21:17

I have pale skin and have always used St Tropez mousse, has to be the one with the blue lid though. I shower, exfoliate, moisturise a tiny bit then apply the mousse an hour or two before going out. After half an hour the tan shows really well. This one washes off next time you have a shower. The other S T mousse lasts a few days but has a strong smell so one with the blue lid the best imo.

Sally Hansen airbrush legs. I've given up on fake tan and just use this when I have my legs out. Very subtle but takes the blue edge off

MsBug · 16/07/2014 23:00

I use Johnsons holiday skin but only on my legs in early summer to make them less startlingly white. It's OK but I have to mix it with moisturiser on my knees or they go a bit orange.

Is the st Tropez stuff better?

flapmyfunnels · 16/07/2014 23:11

Thanks for suggestions so far.
Am leaning towards the St Tropez express or maybe the L'oreal one that Laska recommended.
Any other suggestions, or comments on these two?

I second the L'Oreal one too. I apply it with a Boots own tanning mitt, it goes on smoothly with no streaking or orangey look.

SlipperyLizard · 17/07/2014 06:51

I love fake bake mousse (am v pale), it is the only one that has never streaked on my legs or made me look orange.

strawberryblondebint · 17/07/2014 07:12

I second Sally Hansen legs in fair. I put it on with a glove and it evens skintone as well as making my legs a lovely natural colour. I haven't worn tights to work once thus summer and the 19 year old fake tan addict in my office is sold on the stuff. I am a very pale strawberry blonde.

wellnowthenmardybum · 17/07/2014 07:19

Garnier summer body is great. It's a moisturiser, just wack it on after you shower, so the tan builds up very gradually and you can stop before getting orange. I luffs it

Dharmalovesdraco · 17/07/2014 07:33

Agree with Sally Hansen, it's brilliant. My only gripe is that it washes off with soap and water so needs applying everyday. Even my H said 'whichever fake tan you're currently using is the best I've seen you use'. This may also have been a not so subtle dig at the vast number of fake tans I have bought over the years Grin.

eatyourveg · 17/07/2014 08:28

Glad I saw this - was just wondering the same thing. If these can be washed off in the shower won't they melt and run down your leg in the very hot weather?

sweetheart · 17/07/2014 09:45

I'd recommend the Garnier products. I use their summer body moisturiser when I have time to build a tan up gradually or if I need a quick tan I use the Garnier, Ombre solaire no streaks bronzer spray in the lightest shade.

Quick update - got the St Tropez Express mousse which was pricey at £30 so it'd better last a long time. Also got a Boots mitt for applying which really helped avoid streaks. Very pleased with colour, I was cautious and just left it on for an hour but it was quite subtle so I did it again the next day. Good colour even on my previously blue legs, no streaks and pong-free.
