Interesting.... I've so had enough with my roots showing just 3 weeks after colouring that i almost bought the space NK root cover up. But in the end decided it couldn't possibly be worth £28....

Is the M&S one like that - sort of hair make up?

I've tried the M&S one - Josh Wood is the make. It was heartily recommended by the Sunday Times Style mag, however all I find it does is colour in my head and draw attention to the dodgy hair line.

I use Colour Effects from Superdrug. It's not hair make-up, it's sold as a wash in wash out colour, but I leave it on the roots longer than it suggests and I find it bridges the gap between getting my hair proffessionally coloured. It lasts ages, and IIRC was about £3/4. Won the Your Hair 2013 awards.

I tried the Josh Wood one last week DD did it for me in the shop to save unnecessary expense

It looked really good (mid brown hair with loads of grey roots) but did wash out pretty quickly.

I got this today,not tried it yet,but I'm taking it on holiday with me tomorrow.

I got the light blonde.

I'm lightish blonde,but my greys show really quickly especially when they have been exposed to the sun.

I tried the M&S one in medium blonde and didn't think it was that good -it did cover but made my scalp look red.

Nope, that's what cheap mascara is for!

I was amazed how well the Josh Wood one worked - all grey concealed, no dye on skin at all!

If you get caught in the rain is it all going to run down your face?

I am well beyond mascara for my grey roots.

Yes I thought the Josh Wood one gave really good coverage but no weird line and none on my skin.
How is it for anyone else that has actually paid for it ?
