they'd certainly make the purple ASOS minidress less indecent...

nailpolish · 12/09/2006 14:36

actually mrsB that dress arrived this morning

see me with my finger on the pulse!
can actually see it looking better with footless tights and black ballet flats than with vertiginous heels.

nailpolish · 12/09/2006 14:41

yes, i might try that mrsB

but i like to wear heels cos im so short

and they give you a better posture

Fimbo · 12/09/2006 14:43

Hi nailpolish, I'm no stylista but I think you should def wear them! I wore them last year with a longish (cover bum) length black wrap around top and boots and I think they look fab.Just don't make the mistake of going too short with the skirt or dress you wear with them. I was thinking of getting a long jumper dres this year to wear them again with my ballet pumps or even some ankle boots (this years must have, as i have just read in HEAT on my lunch break . I'm just a bit worried that I am gaining weight on my thighs as well as my tum which won't be a good look in leggings/footless tights!.
also just to add, I have seen some cheap and nice jumper dresses in New Look and got a nice pair of leather ballet pumps from there for £20.00 last week!...ps. It's a long time since I was 19!

Fimbo · 12/09/2006 14:47

Why what's wrong with the squirrel look? Very classy imo and only £14. Cheap as chips .

Hideous is what they are.........

nailpolish · 12/09/2006 14:47

i have seen some gorgeous boots too, but i have to be careful wearing short boots cos im so short
in height

long time since i was 19 myself

LOL...I've just seen the picture of those boots! Fur topped were not quite what I was picturing when I said ankle boots!

Fimbo · 12/09/2006 14:49

Lol! Cracking website! I googled "Pea-coat" and what a pea-coat I got. Nafftastic

nailpolish · 12/09/2006 14:49

what kind of heels can you wear with footless tights then?

OP posts:
SassiLils · 12/09/2006 14:52

depends who you are and how long and thin your legs are I suppose???

Posh could wear anything...she said flats and tight jeans make you look like a golf club!...so who knows?
