Watching the bra intervention threads agog at the thought I too could have a comfy bra. I have measured 40 and half band and 46 inches fullest part when leaning over. I'd love you help.

That's your help of course.

Can any of the bra interventionists help? I was ready to do my usual online order for my usual ill-fitting but better than the others when I saw the amazing stories on here and I'd love to go shopping with confidence and renewed optimism. Thanks.

What size have you been wearing? I think the measurements give a 40f. The guide is here:

Thank you- a 38C thanks to the twin evils of a (let's be kind) rushed and harried sales assistant in one major store and another in a department store of renown who said 'This will have to do'. Nice. Thanks for the link!

40 and 46 would suggest a start point of a 40E. However, it's very common to need a band size smaller than you measure so I would also try a 38F and FF. How does your current bra fit if you scoop?

FelicityMoriarty · 16/07/2014 20:59

When I scoop there is too much breast, too little material. I'd say my bra covers rather than supports me tbh.
