So I tried it and my hormonal acne broke out worse than ever but buoyed on by the stories on here about it taking a while to work, I carried on. And now, 5 ish weeks later, my skin has calmed right down and I've had no spots for some time. I've just bought my 2nd tube and will keep going with it.

I've been using for about 3 weeks and have had more spots than I ever have and my skin has gone really oily, I'm going to stick it out until the 5 week mark but if my skin hasn't improved by then im quiting

It did nothing positive for me, but happy that it works so well for you.
I've found that Avène TriAcnéal really works for me. I use it before bed on the spots and bad areas and by morning, the spots and bad areas are looking much better. It worked from day 1.

I gave up with it once but it really is a case of it getting worse before it gets better. And I have serious, hard core hormonal acne, so have been there and worn the t shirt!

I'm so glad it worked for you Foxy. I have found it literally life-changing and no longer suffer with spits - miraculous!

Spits - spots, stupid ipad

My skin is a lot clearer thanks to this wonderful stuff too, especially my forehead.

Wondering what kind of moisturiser with SPF I could use though? I'm starting to feel guilty that I don't wear any now that I don't have to hide my forehead under my fringe!

This stuff has cleared my spots caused by Rosacea. I've had red spots for YEARS, which I was able to just about control with a few day's worth of Doxycycline but which came back whenever I stopped. Skin feels thicker and stronger too. Cannot believe I am spot free after all this time.

I've not tried the Effaclar but have had good results withthe LRP Toleriane cleanser, used with an Olay SPF30 day lotion as moisturiser

I love it too and am using it with Nivea Intensive Night Cream. My skin is spot free (please God don't let me jinx it) and wrinkles have decreased.
