No swimming for two weeks after a tattoo and total sun avoidance for longer - sun cream ok after about 3 weeks or a month but sun avoidance still needed.

Yeah, annoying as I find it I do avoid being tattooed in the summer. Worry enough about the stuff that is done in spring being alright TBH.
