dying hair during pregnancy

i have dark blonde (dyed) hair and weave as my natural hair is very short and thin but i am wanting to go darker , either a mid chocolate colour or maybe something with read tints nothing too extreme.

1. is it safe to dye hair i have been told different things by different people one hair dresser said it was another said she wouldn't chance it..?

2.if you dyed your hair did you notice any differences in your hair or the colour while pregnant?

1. what brands would you recommend (i will be using home dye kits)?

it is ok to do in pregnancy. Some places recommend you wait until after the first trimester. Pregnancy can affect the way the colour takes to the hair e.g. might not work as well or the colour might not be quite right
