Dd1 is 14 and has really oily skin and moderate acne and we've tried almost everythinge got duac from the doctor but it made her face really dry, red and painful so she doesn't like to use it although it does work quite well. The doc have her antibiotics but she can't really swallow tablets so that's not going too well....

I read that some people use milk of magnesia to control oily skin and it seems to get rid of spots and inflammation too, it seems to work really well from what I've researched. So I bought a bottle online and she used it last night and it seems to be ok so far, although 1 day is not really enough to see results, her face isn't red, it looks more calm and there are no new spots. Also it's not oily.

I put a bit on my face too, I don't have acne or spots but I do have large pores and would get blackheads (lovely) and this morning I think my pores are definitely smaller...

Anyway just wondering if anyone has used this and what results they've had or is it not good to put a laxative on your face!!

There was apparently a paper written by doctors/scientists/someone in the 1970's I think about this.
