Is there such a thing as decent jersey shorts?

I've got 'smart' shorts already, but want something comfortable for the beach/ garden. Easy to wear and wash.

I don't look good in shorts! (Dresses are much better, but no good for getting dirty/ playing with the children etc.).

I wondered if anyone had found anything. Ps they need to be thigh covering (at least the top half). I've found lots of hot pant style, and really short ones, but I don't have the legs for them!

I saw some in the men's section of h&m the other day, just nice and plain, looked really comfortable

I got lovely ones from Uniqlo last year, don't know if they have anything similar this year.

I got some nice grey ones from tesco ?

Men's Adidas jersey shorts. Perfect length, wash up brilliantly, last forever.

Disclaimer: there is no dressing them up to look pretty but they are so comfortable
