I adore these. But when I went to buy them, the shipping to the UK was more expensive than the actual trousers. Gutted!

How can I get something like this here in the UK?

have you tried etsy?

grumblepuss · 11/07/2014 20:27

Have you tried tkmaxx? They always have interesting nightware.

margaritasbythesea · 11/07/2014 21:10

here although not the colour you wanted.

HexBramble · 12/07/2014 08:46

Thanks everyone.
Margarita - you star! I wanted the blue ones originally - perfect for camping evenings in France - but the yellow ones are lovely too. I'm getting them!

Thank you Thanks

Sorry, not helpful at all but marking my place as these are beautiful and I want some!

margaritasbythesea · 12/07/2014 12:50

Contact the woman directly through etsy?

Selks · 12/07/2014 13:08

Not punjammies, but some lovely indian cotton trousers here

PumpkinsMummy · 14/07/2014 09:33

oh those are beautiful. Would it be weird to wear them with a plain vest top as trousers? Not into town or anything just around the house or possibly beach type thing. Just wondering if the material would be too thin. I wouldn't want to waste them on bed time they are too pretty!

mabelbabel · 14/07/2014 11:00

I want some too, for beach/garden/slobbing purposes, but am put off by the shipping cost. Has anyone tried contacting their customer services? They need a UK distributor!!

mabelbabel · 14/07/2014 11:05

Sod it - I'm going to email them and see.

HexBramble · 14/07/2014 13:17

Mabel - I'll share postage costs if they're willing to be reasonable?!

I've found another pair from a UK store but not half as nice. I'll find the link when I get home to show you. I'll be really keen to hear what they say though - I really want a pair!

Oh, is it very bad that I'm disappointed?

I thought they were going to be jammies with puns all over them??!

Haha....oops. Grin

mabelbabel · 14/07/2014 13:29

Well I've put in an email, so let's see if anything comes back. Hexbramble let's wait and see what comes back. But yes, that could be a possibility.

BackforGood · 14/07/2014 13:33

If you live in a multicultural city, there are whole suburbs of shops making this type of clothing at extremely low cost - are you close enough to travel somewhere?
Or maybe there's a business start up for some entrepreneurial MNer - buy up stock and set up an internet business Smile

mabelbabel · 14/07/2014 19:25

I got a v nice friendly reply but there's no UK distribution at the moment and no improvement on the postage. They will let me know if they run any offers though.

HexBramble · 14/07/2014 20:24

Mabel I am gutted as no doubt you are! The blue ones on the site are my dream come true. Really love them.

What to do?!

That's tons for contacting them - dont suppose anyone has any American contacts who will willingly bring them back for me and Mabel?!

Not sure of where you are but there are a fair few Indian clothes shops near me( south London) selling some amazing dresses, saris etc. perhaps they might have something similar in there (I know the ones round here do and they are about £12)

HexBramble · 15/07/2014 06:10

Nessie - can I post you the link to show you the ones that I love?

If you find something remotely similar - I'd love you! Grin

I'm looking at shalwar trousers on e-bay and there are some really nice ones that are a similar shape.
