Is anyone else finding it hard to track down a copy of Glamour with the chubby stick?

I have tried everywhere and all I can find is the copy with the mascara and moisturiser.

Anyone else?

I bought both colours with no trouble in a wee independent newsagent in ards-though that was all the stick they had. Wasn't all that thrilled with either colour but at the price they'll do fine!!!

Ive looked in about 10 different shops and then gave up! Don't like the mascara or the moisturiser.

douchbag · 10/07/2014 13:00

I've been looking too, plenty of magazines with no gift at all in sainsburys Shock

mswibble · 10/07/2014 13:03

Everywhere ive looked so far, the plastic has a big hole where some freeloading scrotebag has nabbed it already!

VerucaInTheNutRoom · 10/07/2014 13:11

Got a copy with chubby stick in my local Spar. Am in NI too.

Yes , no joy here either I ended up getting the mascara Sad

SmileAndNod · 10/07/2014 13:44

Managed to buy both colours this week. One on tuesday, then the other yesterday. Quite a few chubby sticks left yesterday.

The colours don't show up that well on me though.

polyhymnia · 10/07/2014 14:02

It always amazes me how many people remove the gifts from the covers without buying the magazines. Don't know if they are more law-abiding outside London.

Talisin · 10/07/2014 18:28

Yep. Looked in all the little newsagents and they were about 90% moisturiser and 10% mascara. Then tried Waitrose - moisturiser only again. Huge Sainsburys in Wandsworth had about 6 racks of Glamour - 1 solitary chubby stick (strawberry) in the lot every single other copy was moisturiser. Finally today I was in the Bell Green Sainsburys and they had all four gifts, although again it was predominantly the moisturiser.

stinkyfluffycat · 10/07/2014 18:57

Don't worry too much about it - I got one, and although the packaging looks almost full - size, the lip balm only twists up about 2cm, so if you go by weight it's probably better value for money to buy a full size one than to buy Glamour (although there were some rather fetching pictures of a naked Alexander Skarsgard in the magazine...)

DaftSkunk · 10/07/2014 19:05

I had the same problem and managed to find quite a few in my local Sainsbury's in the end.

PunkrockerGirl · 10/07/2014 20:40

Got one in Tesco Express yesterday.

RJnomore · 10/07/2014 21:12

I got mines in sainsburys as well.

RJnomore · 10/07/2014 21:13

Em stinky the mag is £2 and a chubby stick is about £17? Still a bargain!

NormHonal · 10/07/2014 21:14

Balls, I saw one earlier and didn't buy it. In the local shop.

iliketea · 10/07/2014 21:17

I managed to find both in my local morrisons. (Got one free with subscription copy, but there were both colours in morrisons.

VegasIsBest · 10/07/2014 21:21

Got one - but very dissappointed. The colour doesn't show up at all on my lips.

0pheliaBalls · 10/07/2014 23:08

I subscribe and got one with my subscription copy in the strawberry shade. Was really disappointed because as Stinky said there's actually only about a centimetre of product in the tube despite it being only a bit smaller than the regular size ones. It's what my mother would have called a swizz Grin

OneLittleLady · 10/07/2014 23:10

can't find any copies with the chubby sticks in and i can't use the moisturiser or mascara. have given up now and might just buy a music magazine instead!

duvetfan · 10/07/2014 23:15

I got both in my local Sainsbury's. Its a small store but they had quite a few. Glad I got them as I had been going to buy one for ages but I don't think it is that great.
