It's the heel height - hate in between heels. Needs to be taller or more of a flat sandal for me.

And I think the patent finish makes them look much cheaper than they are.

I feel like a mega bitch now! Sorry!

That's ok pangea everyone has different taste.

It was actually the in between height that drew me. I feel uncomfortable in very high shoes except for a very special occasion....these are high enough to look smart but not too uncomfortable to wear.

Unfortunately the blue has sold out in my size so it's either gold (NO!), red (not keen) or tan with wood heel.

I like the tan ones best

I agree, the tan has the nicest finish.

You need good ankles and long legs for ankle strap shoes.
The patent makes them look cheap.

Dancergirl, I have them in navy - I think they look better on than on the page, they are surprisingly comfortable and I LOVE a heel of 8cm or less... so it's a yes from me!

Can anyone recommend any others similar with a block heel? But not too high.

Can't link (phone) but I've got some Hobbs coco in tan & I like them. Worth a look.

Those coco sandals are lovely mam but sold out in all colours and sizes

I like the Dune ones - especially the black/tan/white. I am tall so dont like wearing very high heels, and really like the block heel sandles around now. Think you have to have slim legs though, and def not wear anythink vaguely frumpy with them!

They're fab! Really quite modern. Shame about the blue.
