best way of lightening hair to light light blonde/platinum from mousey brown.

hi i am posting for my friend, who wants to do this, well i am going to do it for her.
Is there a really good product out there, her hair is light brown and grey. Does have some remnants of a darker colour towards the ends.

I have used jerome russel on mine to do high lights but never all over. Are there any good light blonde colour kits. thanks

I used a Loreal Lightening colour originally then added highlights after if it wasn't blond enough. Now I use a light blond Loreal Colour every 6 weeks and then highlights round the face.

one I would definitely leave to the professionals, far too much potential for orange!!

yes it is prob best left to professionals, but money dictates!
