You are a size 16-18

Have a stomach that has had 5 kids in 5 years and looks like it

Have a tattoo on your upper arm you don't like to show (may be able to cover up with make up)

I am sort of apple shaped but sort of hourglass in that I do have a waist but I also have a big belly!!

Wedding is on Saturday!help!

What I wear every day.

A wrap jersey dress with three quarter sleeves. John Lewis have loads in their sale, you're going to want a smart print if it's for a wedding.

I always find wraps accentuate my baby belly though, unless they are a bit more Aline.will look though.

A mock wrap might be better then, where it's ruched at the sides and across the tummy?

YoungBritishPissArtist · 09/07/2014 09:04

Wear Spanx (or Primark's own version Wink) under the wrap dress to hold tummy in?

5toocoolforschool · 09/07/2014 09:48

I am looking at phase eight website,I like the hatty dress in red, sorry don't know how to link on tablet!

Here's the link: www.phase-eight.co.uk/fcp/product/phase-eight/Work-Dresses/Hatty-Dress/202584845

I agree with wearing Spanx underneath and maybe a statement necklace to draw the eye upwards and away from the tummy area.

Mrsgrumble · 09/07/2014 11:04

I think this dress is stunning!!

Spanx. I find they smooth my belly out to an acceptable curve.

I'm afraid I don't think a jersey wrap dress is formal enough for a wedding though. Feels a bit worky to me.

5toocoolforschool · 09/07/2014 13:32

It's only for the evening bit though?plus I am a sahm of 5under 7 who livcesx in leggings so aNY kind of dress feels like dressing up for me!

I'm a16 and have a five baby belly too.
I wore a fifties style prom dress to a wedding in feb and felt fab, I found the nipped in waste and sticky out skirt hid my tummy well

TheresLotsOfFarmyardAnimals · 09/07/2014 14:17

For the evening, this is nice www.alexon.co.uk/en/teal-chiffon-bonded-lace-dress-541113

or this could be good for the mum tum www.alexon.co.uk/en/alexon-magenta-drape-front-dress-485200

They have quite a few sleeved dresses at the moment

Walnut8 · 09/07/2014 14:27

Some of those alexon ones are lovely

carrie74 · 09/07/2014 15:01

I'd be going for a flarey skirt and structured top (shirt) - either as separates or as a dress if you can find it.

5toocoolforschool · 09/07/2014 16:23
