I am nearly 19 weeks on second pregancy and dug out the old maternity dress. It was a good black wrap one from Crave maternity but it has stretched and looked awful yesterday. I am a guest at a wedding next week.

So trawled the shops today.. Got very fed up. Nothing looked right.

Remember a dress for a family wedding that was loose and bingo .. I am happy and it's very, very flattering. I also have lovely heels, wrap and a hat I got made but local milliner (dress was super cheap and very special wedding) Oh er. Normally a new look fan :)

Yippee... Saved me feeling miserable and getting good wear from this outfit.

Nothing better then when an outfit comes together for free!

Hope you have a lovely time :)

Merry Dance away here! I have gone up a dress size. Admitted it to myself this week, bought something that fits, went out finally feeling good, and did my own merry dance. Enjoy wedding!

Well done!

I am going to an evening do soon, and tried on a lovely DvF dress I haven't worn for years. It's a 10, and I'm usually a 12, now, but because it's a wrap style, I can get away with it. Hurrah!

This is a wrap style! Can't best them.

Fantastic news! I had a nightmare trying to find a nice flattering maternity dress when I was at a wedding at 32 weeks. Ordered one from asos, but is was uncomfortable and I just didn't feel right in it.
Remembered a stretchy non-maternity one I had that was a bit too big? And bingo! So comfy and I got loads of compliments on it too.

It's a fab feeling isn't it?

Well done, OP! DSis got married when I was 8 months pregnant, and I looked utterly frumptastic. I couldn't find anything in the shops and ended up wearing a huge grey Hmm shirt and matching trousers.

I felt like Nelly the Elephant and it ruined the whole day really. I managed to avoid all but one of the wedding photos.
