It's being dicontinued.
Why, FFS? They were poorly advertised, and never sufficiently rolled-out nationally - but they were building a very positive following on-line and by word-of-mouth.
And the one I like is sold out on-line, sold out across most of the UK, but M and S have many bottles of it in one or two shops in areas of the country many, many miles from me.
I 'phoned the central customer service number. I said I'd like to buy 6-10 bottles, could I do mail order?
No.
Why don't I buy a train ticket and go and fetch them (we're talking 100-200 miles here - and I have children, so a baby-sitter too)?
How unhelpful is that as a response? I'd give that a 6 for completely crap non-customer service.
And - astonishing! - M and S sales figures have shown a slump again!! What could they possibly be doing wrong?
