If you use straighteners regularly, do you use a thermal hair protection product?

I've recently dusted down my straighteners after years of not using them. I seem to recall that the GHD spray always felt sticky or heavy on my hair. What does anyone use - if anything?

Thanks.

Yes always use heat protector as heat can cause so much damage to the hair!! I use vo5 smoothly does it cream with built in heat protector as I have frizzy hair but I have used dove and john Frieda before and they were both fab, cheaper than ghd too :)

Nope. Use them every day and my hair is shiney and in good condition, but it is very soft and fine and oily and not very long (wash it every day).

Yes, I use the Lee Stafford poker straight hot iron protector. It does a good job and despite using straighteners most days my hair is in pretty good condition.

Thanks all. Will try one of your recommendations - from past experience, my hair definitely needs something!
