Anyone tried selling on online dress agency's such as Covetique

I have a £600 Micheal Kors dress that I bought from the Net a Porter January sale this year for £200. It was a massive treat - supposed to be a once in a lifetime LBD. But wherever I wear it I notice that in certain lights you can see every lump and bump on my body, my underwear etc. so I now hate it but feel sick to my core at wasting my money.

I sometimes e bay but came across Covetique - now it looks v classy and net a porterish BUT next to a small % of stuff it says SOLD and I kind of think - if this is all the stuff they're selling then it's not going to be worth trying.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience?

Hi there, I'm currently trying to sell a couple of designer tops with them but am finding the process really slow. They've given me a final price (more than a week ago) but they're still not up on the website. I'm finding it quite frustrating.

They are appallingly slow and as with any business of this nature their commission is painfully high. I sent details of a Mulberry bag which was brand new with the tags still attached and got a decent offer price back in February. After provisionally accepting, they collected my item via UPS. Then... Nothing. No notification email to say they had it, no receipt given by UPS. There is no details on your 'account' page of items in their possession - all I have is an email thread to prove my designer bag is in their care. I telephoned and they confirmed it had arrived safely. Waited another week to receive an email claiming that their original price offer had reduced, strange as the item was accepted as genuine, was brand new and therefore was no question regarding condition. I thanked them for their time but declined their offer and asked for the bag back as per their T&C's. That was on 27th February and despite several emails saying that they are dispatching it back, I still have no news on where my bag is. I am obviously getting concerned now as to the care being taken of my item and am keeping my fingers crossed as to its condition if it ever finds its way home.
As a side note, whilst I was in the early stages of this mess I also put some Louboutins forward for a quote. Size 38, unworn and a very popular style, I can't imagine they would be a niche market per se and yet at £795 retail I was offered a £200 price (maybe that would've reduced on receipt too) & that's BEFORE commission! I would hazard a guess that it is possibly a good site to buy from but I wouldn't recommend selling through them from my personal experience.
