Ok, dd16 "needs" some new stuff (goodbye boots points). Foundation, bronzer, blush, mascara and brushes. She has lovely skin, apart from a few little forehead and chin spots, which she is trying to get rid of before prom next week.
Oh wise ones, what to get? I'm not blowing a fortune on her btw.

Brushes - ECO tools have good reviews and are available at Big boots branches.

Blush & Bronzer - I think Benefit (popular with youngsters) do a combined kit. Not cheap though.

Mascara - Maybelline gets good reviews for mascara - the one in the yellow tube I think called Collosall (sp)

Foundation - if she has good skin maybe one of the lighter bb or cc creams (a pro told me they are all just foundation under a differant marketing ploy) again Maybelline or L'oreal etc

Boots sell glamour magazine usually - that has a choice of Clinique products free with it this month Wink
Mascara, chubby stick or moisturiser

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 05/07/2014 10:03

Oh yes Goid-spotted that. All the places selling it near me have only got marscara or moisturiser. I'm fancying a chubby stick myself. I know it's only two quid but seems extravagant to buy two copies. She was loking at the borjois healthy mix one, two for 14 atm

DD1 (19) uses ECO brushes - they are v nice. I use the Boots Number 7 ones because I've built up a collection when they have the money off vouchers - they are pretty good too.

Blusher - the Boots Natural Collection ones cost about tuppence a pot, and are really v good for the money.

Mascara - the Maybelline pink one is popular.

I got the mascara, same here not managed to track down the chubby stick yet (I'm sulking!)

WH smiths (the bastards) had umpteen copies, not one chubby. I think they don't exist.
