Funding capsule wardrobe for new career? Is there a website or service that would take all my old stuff - Hobbs suits/Reiss/Autograph rather than having to do it piecemeal on eBay?

Thinking about the need to pare down my wardrobe. I have Hobbs dresses and suits - lots of smart stuff. But it's all a bit boring. I've already decided to sell my marks and Spencer jumpsuit. Wondering whether to go on eBay or is there someone who would take all of it and give me a price?!

What size are they?

FergusSingsTheBlues · 03/07/2014 20:05

I would, potentially. Make them into a bundle. What size? MN would be just the place to flog it....we all go back to work a different suze!

Do you have a dress agency near you? They would probably keep around 50% of the sale price though. Alternatively there are people who will sell your stuff for you on ebay and again you pay them a % of what you get for them.

In that cases I would be interested in size 12 dresses, particularly from Hobbs. Can you post pics and prices to your profile and let us all descend on everything?

CareerGirl01 · 03/07/2014 20:18

wicked will aim to do it this weekend! Not sure how I edit my profile - will get DH to help!

I have a job interview in a few weeks and I have nothing.

I would be interested in taking a look!

Size 12 dresses here too, trousers and shirt maybes. Job is working from home so pointless paying out for new things I'll only need to dress smartly now and again.

I have a drapey grey Reiss dress that is a 12 - loathe to sell it but it hangs off me. The Hobbs suit I have is a 10 but is quite big. I even managed to wear it until 29 weeks pregnant with DD2 - and despite having HG I still chucked on some weight. Feel I should hold on but if I sell to some lovely homes it make me feel good and I need the cash. Will try and put pics up as soon as - both DDs are not sleeping tonight
