Well I've fallen off the no shopping waggon good and proper. There's been some great things in the sale for me. I've tried to stick to classic items I think I'll get lots of use from:

I've shopped the sale 'enthusiastically', but have stuck to things that I have been wanting to buy at full price, but couldn't justify, OR, are things I need for work and just don't want to pay full price. I was desperately in need of work shoes, so have stocked up on ones to wear now, but also for the Winter.

Feck. That's quite a lot. Was s'posed to be a quiet month. Am also haemorrhaging money entertaining the sprogs on summer hols. Much cheaper when I'm working!

Dont need this many bags but i love them all!!!!!!..and a girl cant have too many bags!!

Nowt so far but am planning on buying some classic workwear & perfume preferably Tom Ford Vetiver if its on sale. John Lewis stocks it for 75, if anyone sees it advertisrd for less than please let me know

Leoandboosmum the scarf was from John Lewis. Bought in the Cambridge store but I think they might have online too.

i find ash boots too gappy at the front - sepc for slim ankles

msvenus- that tom ford scent is lovely but it just doesnt last at all

Weirdly enough given i started the Zatchels thread absolutely nothing from Zatchels, I think i need to go to their stall in Westfield and see if i like the saddle bags on IYSWIM.

A Marc by Marc Jacobs black saddle bag I'd been stalking at Selfridges, full price was £380 and I got it for £190

I seem to usually buy a handbag in the June sales, and clothes in the Jan sales. In summer I tend to buy cheaper tops / shorts / sandals from Primark / Peacocks etc, and I have quite a few nice dresses from the last couple of years from Hush and Me and Em I'm still happy to wear this summer.

I did find some Acne black denim shorts from a charity shop for £4 but not sure that counts. Wearing them now with a navy and white spotty cami from Primark, will add MBMJ bag and sunnies later.

Those were the main offenders, also a few cheapy high street bits.

Ooh dexter i love that bracelet. I've been trying to justify it for ages. Didn't even think to look for that in the sales.

I've liked it for ages too so when I spotted it I bought it straight away as it was the last one.

A few work wear pieces from Mango, Toast and Gap. Nothing major. Just had an expensive holiday on the Iberian Coast, so not spending any more this month!

Bollocks - just been on the John Lewis site and ordered jumper and jeans. Too good to miss at those prices!

Pissed off that the coast cobalt skirt is totally sold out everywhere. Was really looking forward to it.
