Going to a barn dance and need cowboy boots

I don't already own a pair as I think they're a bit clumpy and ugly and I prefer my boots a bit sleeker. But needs must...

I'm going to wear a denim mini skirt so any colour would do I guess and I'm size 4. I'd like a bit of a heel and I really don't want to spend much at all on them. Can anyone please help me?

Scroll down to the thread 'bargain leather boots' for nice £20 ones!

Sirry, dodgy link. The ones on the left

The first pair do not really do it for me, I'm afraid.

I got excited about the £5 ones but they only have kids' sizes.

I may have to rethink and go 50s gingham rather then denim then I can wear shoes...

Ebay? Charity shop? Local FB buying/selling pages?
Wear them once and sell them on...

I've looked a loads of pairs on eBay and Amazon. I think there is clearly a reason why I've got to 44 years old and never been tempted to buy a pair of cowboy boots!

I'm now thinking maybe a gingham frock might be better.

Are you sure everyone's dressing up? Last couple that I've been to has been jeans & tees with the odd cowboy hat thrown in.
