Anyone found wide sandals for their dd (not clarks)?

Dd is a size 1. Unfortunately too small for adult shoes but has her cursed mother's wide feet .

Anyone found any reasonably priced sandals that suit children with wide feet? She's ok in flip flops but they aren't any good for lots of walking.

Dd is a 1.5

We found one pair in shoe zone (white canvas sandals with a flower on & slight wedge). Last year she wore gold Clarks sandals.

Dd would love the wedge but I'm keen for her to avoid them as long as possible

My DC have wide feet, wider than Clarks cater for, and we buy Ricosta. Usually easy to find at the small independent shops. Not the cheapest - I usually pay about £38-40 but I really can't squash their feet into shoes that are too narrow and they seem to fit for longer than Clarks etc so it's not too bad as I get 8-9 months out of a pair usually. DS's recent pairs have done a whole school year each.

My dd is 12 (small feet) & spends her life having to have shoes meant for younger children so I didn't mind the wedge just for holiday & going out. She wears trainers or converse if she's walking far b

Yes my dd is 11yrs (small feet too) I'm really looking for something cool but good for a bit of walking too (eg from apartment into town on holiday).

I've shown dd the ricosta ones but she didn't like any of them (pesky child) - thanks for the suggestion though.

Any other makes worth a try?

sadly dcs have inherited my hooves, and whilst not hugely glam crocs are ace for all of us. dd has lovely open toe sandal ones this year, have on Amazon but in phone so can't link. else sports direct had some nice timberland ones

mamijacacalys · 01/07/2014 20:32

birkenstocks?

olivo · 01/07/2014 20:33

Mine both hAve wide feet and we found some nice white sparkly sandals in next that fit fine.

My dd has very wide feet, I bought her a pair from mountain warehouse which are very wide but probably a bit babyish for your dd, Birkenstocks are wide too and sometimes TK max have some wider shoes and sandals.

And she has a pair form 'landsend' that are a good size and didn't cost much.

Crocs are pretty roomy
