I need an alternative to jeans to see me through the summer ..

Am not really a print or harem wearer. Looked at chinos but couldn't find a decent fit. Any recommendations? Something 7/8 length. Not denim. Aside from that ..... I'm open to suggestions .

Oasis have 7/8 trousers in black, navy and beige, very smart, around the £40'mark but there is a sale on at the mo.

I had a pair of these last summer and I wear them loads. I know Gap sizes don't suit everyone (and have no idea what you're talking about with 7/8 length)

I have the Gap broken in khakis and love them. But I did have to size down from my usual size 8 to a size 4.

I've got the gap ones.
BTW there are very few non jeans/ leggings available in any shop. I know because it's the new dress code at my dd1's school.
We eventually found vero modo- good selection.

Oh I like the look of the Gap broken in khakis - might order but will order usual 10 and an 8 to try on - thank you. I've got the Boden Chelsea's in navy too Frankie. Will also check out Oasis and Vero Modo. Somewhat worryingly I'm finding myself with a White Stuff browser page open
