What do you think- Converse trainers?

I can't get the link to work properly as it keeps taking me to the home page but I've seen a pair of raspberry/pink Converse trainers in la Redoute... Is that just a bit too lurid for someone in their late 20s? OR can I get away with them? They are very nice but I just can't convince myself
P.S Am not normally very bold with colours, live in trainers and long sleeved tops

If so I quite like them, and no you're not too old for them! I like Converse anyway

Only late 20's? Wear what you want. You are still young enough !

I am (almost) 27 and would definitely wear them. The trainers I have right now are pink!

Converse always fade really nicely, and it's totally acceptable to wear bold coloured converse! I am just wondering what colour to have my next pair, having just worn out my last ones. Some good websites for converse about. I would not pay more than £35.

PS late 20s is NOT old! Or if you think it is, you've got a lot years of feeling even older ahead of you.

my converses are red too

the raspberry ones sound fab - no converse is off limits under 50 imho (my MIL once threatened to buy a pair though - glad she didn't or I would have had to burn mine...)

I am 41 and wear them most days!Mine are white but I have had other colours my dp wears them in grey and my ds too!W elove them very comfy

I totaly forgot about this thread . I keep going back to them but haven't bought them yet... Not so keen on the green ones but the raspberry ones are delicious.

Also intrigued by the £15 ones from TK mAxx (cheapskate alert)

If late 20s really isn't old (actualy I'm 27 so does that make me 3/4 of my way through my 20s rather than late 20s, which sounds much older?) I dread to think how I will feel in 10 years time. Dd insists that i am a 'lady' despite me saying I am still a 'girl' yet dh can be a 'boy' and he is a year older than me!

Ah, well mine weren't raspberry, more a sort of denim colour but a bargain's a bargain
