What do you think of these Espadrilles

These happened to catch my eye in a local shop in the 'silver' version NOT the gold which is too bling for me. Actually the 'silver' is much more bronze in RL. Tried them on and they are super comfy

Haven't worn espadrilles for years but quite fancy them to wear with summer trousers - probably too clumpy for dresses. Wonder if I'm being a bit magpie-like in going for the metallic - there is an identical style in a range of plain suede colours.

Any views?

For that money no, the gold part looks too Joan Collins for me!

A lot of my slightly older friends in their 60's would prob wear something like those. Maybe in an unmetallic colour they might look less Joan Collins?

Oh no, they're awful, sorry. The River Island ones are lovely though if you're a size 6.

You have convinced me my interest in these was, as I suspected, was an aberration on my part .
