Because I don't have anything!

And always seem to end up sweltering in winter shoes.

Rubber sandals, usually.

Thumbwitch · 27/06/2014 13:49

I have more feminine versions of these

Or you could just wear flip flops.

For when it's raining though?! I do live in flip flops over the summer but they have a major flaw when it rains Grin

Yeah, I hate flip flops in general because of the toe post, hence the rubber sandals I wear instead. Wear them all the time, rain or shine in the summer.

I wear ballet pumps, and then squelch all the way home cursing the weather!

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/06/2014 13:58

Anything as long as its not fabric (so not my Toms) as im not usually out walking in the rain if I can help it so if its just a quick dart from the car to the shop it'll be flip flops or sandals.

Feet are waterproof, fabric shoes are not!

Francagoestohollywood · 27/06/2014 14:06

When it's hot (really hot, not Britain hot, which is never really so hot), Birkenstock.

When I lived in the UK, and it was summer and it rained, trainers.

PrincessOfChina · 27/06/2014 14:12

Cons. Air Max.

Something with a sole more than 0.2cm off the floor (like ballet shoes) works fine I think.

TKKW · 27/06/2014 16:40

I wore converse style pumps in very heavy rain this morning. feet dry as the soles are thick.

GobblersKnob · 27/06/2014 16:42

Flip flops or teva sandals, feet dry quicker than shoes Wink

ValiaH · 27/06/2014 16:57

I wear leather ballet pumps or brogues depending on my outfit and how far I'm walking, but make sure I've sprayed them with a waterproofing spray and kept them polished, if the waterproofing starts to wear off my feet get wet! And that's my cue to respray

scarletforya · 27/06/2014 16:59

Trainers with a thick sole and nice thin cotton socks.

ShatnersBassoon · 27/06/2014 16:59

I have some cream pleather lace-up pumps from Sainsburys. They're sort of the same style as Converse.

lentilpot · 27/06/2014 17:00

I had this issue all last summer (except the heat wave!). This summer I've found saltwater sandals to be ideal, they can cope with the wet and stay comfy and not too sloppy.

TheHoundsBitch · 27/06/2014 17:07

Converse. Or cowboy boots :)

snozzlemaid · 27/06/2014 17:22

Flip flops. Once I'm in them for the summer that's it until October. Your feet soon dry off. Much quicker than soggy shoes do.

Oly4 · 27/06/2014 17:35

Ballet pumps. I find flip flops lethal in the rain!
