What colour should I accessorise this dress with?

Hi, I've bought this dress for a wedding but I can't decide whether to buy black shoes and bag or silver/pewter ones, what do you lot think? I'm a bit rubbish when it comes to things like this!

I'd actually go for gold...

Both colours will go with a lot you'll buy in the future so buy a few things and try them on and return after you've decided. Or take the dress to try with and ask a shop assistant whose taste you trust.

I asked a woman recently in a shop to help me choose for a christening (staff, of course!) and she saved a whole load of faffing around.

I suit pewter more, so i'd go for that myself. If you're blonder and peachy skinned I'd go for gold. (but I am not an expert)

It's from Phase Eight, our local House of Fraser was closing down and they had a massive sale on so I only paid £29 for it!!

I'm blonde with fair skin so I do tend to go for more silver styles than gold.

Thanks for the idea of taking it to the shops with me, I don't know why I didn't think of doing that!

My mum has got my two young daughters tomorrow afternoon so that I can go shopping and have some pamper time so I will let you know how I get on!
