Cheap but beautiful maxi dress for a wedding

Can anyone help? I'm 5'8, apple shape, verging on a size 14 at the mo Blush and I suit muted colours. I want to wear flats to the wedding as it is an outdoorsy affair with lots of hills and slopes and I'll be running around after DS most of the day! I'd like something silky ideally and not clingy. Budget is under £50 :) Thanks

Maybe this or this? Or are you after deeper muted colours?

(I rather like this Confused)

Oh crikey - this is lovely, great colour too.

TheHoundsBitch · 24/06/2014 20:32

Ooh, thanks :) Those colours are good, I love the pattern on the first one but I think the neckline is too high, I am quite broad so I think it would squash my boobs :( the second on is a bit casual I think.

I'd get a ghost dress from eBay- this, for example

TheHoundsBitch · 24/06/2014 20:58

That is very similar to my wedding dress tethers! Lush though :)

Nude one shoulder

To lazy to link but look for 'scissors paper frock' online. They do nothing but maxi dresses.

LoadsaBlusher · 24/06/2014 21:32

Little mistress on Asos and Dorothy Perkins online do a selection of beaded / embellished floaty maxi dresses ,fancy enough for a wedding

TheHoundsBitch · 25/06/2014 22:09

Thanks for all the suggestions, I think I'll try and get to Westfield so I can go to HOF, Oasis, Warehouse etc. :)
