dd has now offcially outgrown Vertbaudet- not that she would like anything i bought from there anyway. Zara has some nice stuff but i hate the clothes in New Look

Just bought a couple of long sleeved t shirts for my very tall DD who is 11. They were from Gap and Pineapple at Debenhams. Also use Next Directory and got a good zip up cardigan in marled pink from M&S. It is difficult to find skirts that are long enough (for me, not for her!) and fit round the waist.

My 11 yr old likes Gap, Boutique at M & S and Punky Fish. Then again she is well on her way to gothdom in a few years I think!

Gap, H&M, BHS (can't remember what the childrens range is called) but make sure you check - either lovely or horrendous. Mackays also do the 'kylie' range, which sound like it would all be dinky little mini skirts but actually had some lovely dresses which dd1 (confirmed jeans wearer) had for on holiday. Don't like the t-shirts from there though. Can never find anything at Next to fit anymore.

LOl janeite- i think my 11 year old is heading that way too( and not just for Hallow'een!)
thanks for other suggestions:
getting trousers long enough is a real problem
but she will fit into age 13 at H&M- why is their range so limited tho'?-for that age i mean. if she was 7 there'd be loads

La Redoute has good stuff up to age 16 but it may all be a bit nice.

I found leaving the catalogue around means more time is spent looking at it and hence more clothes are likely to be chosen...
