My other current faves are the chloe marcie hobo in grey and a quilted Chanel wallet on chain in navy.

Anything by disaster designs. I love love love their bags and covet the Momin satchel.

I realise it isn't Channel but I would have a moomin satchel over. Any of them.

My black leather Italian backpack, bought in a charity shop for £14.99. It's my winter staple bag. That's about to be overtaken by my Sequoia hobo, in a sort of mottled navy, which I've just bought from Buy My Wardrobe.

I love the Moomin satchel, Lumpy. Why haven't you bought it? Does it cost more than a Birkin??

I'd have a Gucci crossbody for nights out, a a classic Balenciaga for weekends, a Tods D bag for work (maybe in a few different colours). And this because I love the style and colour and I can't imagine having a bad day if I was carrying it.

For me the ultimate would be the 2.55

• Birkin in green moc croc a la Daphne Guinness
• Chanel navy leather with silver hardware, the reissue one if they do that colour combo
• Christian Dior lady bag in a pale beige or pink with silver hardware
• a Gucci bag, but not sure what one
• an Anya Hindmarch Gracie in taupe (I have one in black, but taupe would be good)

My zatchels. I have a blue metallic one that i just purchased and i love it!!! I also have one in gorgeous teal and a beautiful spring green. I love them all!!!

I've recently acquired this little lovely and cannot imagine loving a bag more.

However, if I HAD to have a new bag (and I do have a significant birthday coming up if you're reading this DH ), you could probably twist my arm and give me a black leather Chanel Boy with silver hardware.
