Does curly girl work for those who sometimes straighten their hair?

Just that really. Thinking about going no poo but I do sometimes straighten my hair. Views, anyone?

Also styling products. What should I use after washing with conditioner to stop the fluff? Do I brush, or just Afro comb to remove tangles? Can I still colour?

You shouldn't brush or comb with Curly Girl you just rake your fingers through your hair it should not be tangled. After washing with conditioner I use a shea butter leave in conditioner and then I use June Carter curl defining crème or kinky curly styling custard. To revive my hair in the morning as I don't have time to wash in the morning I use distilled water with lavender.

Some people straighten their hair on occasion but I think it disrupts the curl pattern and dries the hair.
