Sundress with spagetti straps....what do you do with bra straps?

I've ordered a lovely sun-dress but it has cross-over spagetti straps (unlike in the pic on the website). I'd love a multiway bra but at my size (32E/DD)all I can find are nude/black/white which look weird as they are always going to be visible.
Anyone seen a colourful multiway or os it ok to wear an obvious bra these days?

You're supposed to wear that kind of dress without a bra. If you need a bra you probably need a different dress...

Bikini?

CarpeJugulum · 21/06/2014 20:14

Clear straps?

MrsLettuce · 21/06/2014 20:14

You just need a strapless bra - the wonderbra one is brilliant.

CarpeJugulum · 21/06/2014 20:15

Like this one?

HappyAsASandboy · 21/06/2014 20:16

I would wear a nude strapless bra, but only if it can't be seen. I don't understand the bit where you say the bra will obviously be seen, unless the dress is cut very low (in which case I wouldn't wear it unless prepared to go braless).

I really really wouldn't wear a colourful bra with the intention of it being on show. I try not to wear clothes that show my bra.

Choose your clothes round your underwear. I wouldn't buy that kind of sundress.

MrsLettuce · 21/06/2014 20:30

Yeah, if I fancied a strappy sundress I'd start off by finding a good strapless bra and work from their. Transparent bra straps have the tendency to look like scars or burns at first glance, which is unfortunate.

Iggly · 21/06/2014 20:31

Return the dress!

midnight1983 · 21/06/2014 20:32

I just have my normal bra and I really don't care who can see the straps.

MrsLettuce · 21/06/2014 20:37

I have big breasts so my straps are invariably wide and frumpy in isolation, no matter how pretty the bra.

HazleNutt · 21/06/2014 20:38

strapless bra, I'm an FF/G and the Wonderbra works very well.

ygritte · 21/06/2014 21:30

Thanks for the varied replies! The options suggested means I'm glad I asked.
I have a Freya Deco strapless bra and will try on with that.

I don't think I could ever not wear a bra....even 20 years ago when they looked like the model in the pic...too much gawping. Strangely enough though, the dress is very conservative.

I wouldn't worry too much about my bra straps showing. Just match the colour to the dress.
