Does "sold out" mean no more EVER?

...as opposed to "out of stock" meaning more available soon?

After some H&M trousers that I've seen on a couple of people in rl recently - but of course they're "sold out"!

Dare I hope they might get more in?

Ime it usually means no more ever, but being sold out online doesn't mean it's sold out in store, so keep looking...

Email them!

I did about that Zara stripy skirt a while back, they said sorry, no more in stock, and now it's mysteriously reappeared in their AW collection.....never give up hope Grin

No, they can crop up in the sale section a few weeks later. I've bought something then it's sold out and have seen the same thing again on numerous occasions.

Thanks - have emailed!

you never know when someone might return a pair

frankietwospots · 21/06/2014 22:16

Or you could tell us exactly what you're looking for and maybe one of us might spot them in store and get them for you?

DoloresGove · 21/06/2014 22:52

peas That's what I was sort of hoping - that someone might return a pair!

Ooh frankie hadn't thought of that. Will link in a sec...

It's these as in the patterned ones. Would prob need a 14 as last time I bought a 12 from H&M I couldn't get them up! If anyone happened to see them in would be most grateful... I could always contact the store and ask them to send.

on h&m's website it rarely means "sold out forever". I would bet they'll come back in stock.

Alwaysrushingaround · 21/06/2014 23:10

Keep an eye on eBay- has worked for me in the past!

KeithTheCat · 21/06/2014 23:10

oh, sorry, I've just looked at there's no sizes at all and a cross through that colour so I think that might be a "sold out forever"

phone your local shops and describe them and hopefully they'll have some left.

KeithTheCat · 22/06/2014 20:02

just to let you know - we have some of those trousers in my shop so I would definitely phone your nearest store.
