Find me some navy sandals or shoes...please!

OK, here's the brief.....I'm looking for some navy sandals or shoes to wear to work, with skirts or trousers. Small heel, preferably less than £50 (even better if they're in the sale), leather preferred.

I have always been a "black neutral" person, but recently I have bought a pair of navy ankle skimmers and a blue and white striped skirt. All my shoes are black/grey/brown and simply look wrong.

These?

tethersend · 20/06/2014 23:31

These?

CointreauVersial · 20/06/2014 23:32

Tethers - those are really nice, but possibly a bit pricey.

Oh, and did I mention I have wide feet and an impressive set of bunions, so spindly straps are probably out? Blush

Argh, the DP ones would have been a definite contender (see how the crossover strap neatly avoids the bunion Grin ), but only available in a 6.

What sort of style are you after?

Heels or flats?

any good?

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 20/06/2014 23:35

You've tried brown shoes? Tan should definitely go with blue.

CointreauVersial · 20/06/2014 23:40

Does tan go? I have a pair of mocha brown sandals, and another pair in a light orangey tan, but I always think they look a bit mismatched if the colour isn't being picked out elsewhere in the outfit (I don't walk around with a tan clutch blog-stylee).

I always wear tan shoes with blue and sod the matching Grin

Dontbugmemalone · 21/06/2014 00:15

I bought these recently:

They are on sale and very comfortable

CointreauVersial · 21/06/2014 00:29

Dontbug - they look mighty comfy, and what a good price! On my shortlist....

As an aside, why would they use a leather lining and "other materials" upper? Confused

M&S had some blue snakeskin jobs that I can't find on my phone right now but looked quite nice.

Dontbugmemalone · 21/06/2014 09:47

No idea, sorry. Glad I could be of some use Grin.

They are the only pair of shoes that don't hurt my feet.
