Could an experienced seamstress shorten this type of dress, it's a couple of inches too long for me.

Otherwise any recommendations for places that might do shorter lengths, I'm 5'4" so short but not miniscule so don't normally delve into petite ranges

Yes that could be shortened. Seems a nice length though? Just go for higher heels !

It's a nice length on the lady modelling it, I would want it to fall at the same point on me, it's below knee length on me.
