On a moment of impulse, I bought this top.....but what to wear on my bottom half

No photo I'm afraid, but I'll describe it and you can picture

It's a sort of red wine with beige abstract. Sleeveless , quite floaty, V neck.

I've tried to find some reddish leggings but they don't match the wine. I really don't want beige (the naked ass look isn't flattering)

Would black work or is that too stark?
I didn't pay much, it was an impulse but I don't want to pay ££ for a pair of trousers to go that I won't wear again.?

Any ideas?

I know you said you didn't want beige, but I got these recently from bhs (of all places, they are so good for basics recently). Under a longer floaty top they are really nice. They are called 'luxury slim legged trousers'

Gah! Just noticed they are down to £15 as well!
