Co-washing and no silicone is really working!

Been doing this for about a week now and my hair is really looking (and feeling better). Because I colour it (with a non-permanent) it always had that dry "old lady hair" look about it. But it's improved so much since I started using Lidl's own conditioner (65p for a huge bottle) to wash and condition it with.

However, I don't like the smell much (sort of coconutty) so does anyone have any recommendations for cheapo non-silicone conditioners please? I think I saw someone mention a Sainsbury's one on here somewhere the other day, but couldn't find the thread.

PS Also bought a trial size of Tresemme Naturals but that wasn't half as good!

co-washing? is that when you don't use shampoo and wash in conditioner?

Supersoft Volume Boost conditioner, in the green bottle, smells nice and is silicon free, its usually for sale in Poundland.

treacle thanks for that, will give it a try. nipers, yes it's washing with non-silicone conditioner and then conditioning with it as well. Since I posted this I've tried Boots own brand (60p), but it made my head itch.
